Nestled between the Boston Public Garden and the Charles River, this circa-1849 mansion was being used as office space until Metric renovated the building into luxury condominiums. During construction, a hidden central stairway was discovered; Metric restored the grand spiral staircase and replaced metal desks and fluorescent lights with wainscoting and moldings, making the home as elegant as it was more than one hundred fifty years ago.
